Previously, I had a large stereo receiver speaker. But that doesn't fit my lifestyle anymore. With this device, I can play music on my phone with some decent speakers and the Bluetooth device in the middle connects the two together. It has a few other inputs such as RF signal, RCA audio input, coaxial input and optical input. It also comes with a fiber optic cable, remote control and Bluetooth antenna. This would be an awesome compact music system that delivers 100 watts of power to the speakers.
In my opinion, it's only good for near-field listening with high-efficiency speakers. However, it is a nice, clean speaker with a nice remote and tons of input options.
The midrange adjustment actually works well and adds a sense of contour to the sound. I'm not sure how long it will last, but I'll update it if necessary.
Sound is very good! No hiss or buzz, strong bass and clean treble even when turned up to maximum volume. I'm happy to report that there is no crackling or thumping when powering on or off. For a simple amplifier, this is a great choice.
