I am a full time professional DJ in the clubs as well as weddings and private events. I bought these speakers after hearing my friend use them at an outdoor block party and was blown away at how powerful the subs were and how clear the tops were. He played a variety of music through them and everything sounded so good. After I received my pair and did a couple of gigs with them, I sold my EV-50s because these blow them away!! I purchased these speakers after watching a few reviews on YouTube and I’m SO glad I did! I own RCF J8’s, QSC K12’s and the Turbosound IP 2000’s and the sound comparison is not even close! The low end on the S-1503 is the primary difference. It blows them all away! I’m impressed with how good they sound at low volumes which is very important for wedding DJ’s during dinner time and cocktail hour.
When the dancing portion of the reception starts I simply add a little bass with the knob on my external mixer and the party is quickly jumping! I run my S-1503’s on the “DJ Mode” setting that is found on the back of the speaker.
I'm here to tell you if your on the fence about purchasing these Speakers, quickly jump over you will not be disappointed these Speakers are simply amazing for the price, they are well worth the wait and money!!
