Therefore, EXOTON is proud to introduce the all-new S-1803—a 3000W 18-inch powered column speaker system. Building on the strengths of the S-1503, it has been upgraded to a true three-way design, featuring a powerful 18-inch subwoofer and an RS485 network interface, further enhancing overall sound depth and audio performance in medium-to-large spaces.
True Three-Way Design for Professional Column Speaker
In traditional two-way systems, the low-frequency driver is often responsible for reproducing both low frequencies and the main body of instrumental sounds. This not only risks masking midrange details at high volumes but also results in less pure bass reproduction. The S-1803's three-way design incorporates a dedicated midrange driver, enabling more precise reproduction of vocals and instruments such as guitars. At the same time, the woofer no longer needs to handle unnecessary frequency bands, allowing it to focus solely on low-frequency output. For bands and live performances, the S-1803 column speaker system delivers clearer, more prominent sound and a more layered audio experience.

The S-1803 column speaker is equipped with a professional-grade RS485 network port and XLR input/output connectors, offering users convenient and versatile connection options.
Through the RS485 network connection, users can easily adjust volume, EQ settings, DSP presets, and system status.
The XLR connectors are used to connect to mixing consoles, microphones, and other professional audio equipment, ensuring stable, low-noise audio transmission between devices.
4 DSP Preset Modes for Various Column Array Speaker Applications
Different event scenarios have varying requirements for sound performance. Therefore, the S-1803 column array speakers feature 4 built-in professional DSP preset modes to adapt to different live sound reinforcement needs.
Standard Mode: This is the default standard mode, which reproduces natural vocals and music with more pronounced bass compared to other modes, making it suitable for most everyday scenarios;
Long Throw Mode: This mode boosts mid-to-high frequencies, making sound clearer at long distances. It is suitable for outdoor venues and long-throw applications, providing good coverage for listeners in the back rows;
Down Fill Single Box Mode: This mode improves sound uniformity in the area directly in front of the speaker, making it suitable for small events and scenarios using a single speaker;
Monitor Mode: This mode is optimized for stage monitoring, reducing frequencies prone to feedback. Select this mode when using the column speaker as a monitor for performances.

The amplifier panel of the S-1803 subwoofer enclosure features 16 pre-drilled mounting holes for standard 3-inch casters, allowing users to install them as needed for transportation.
